From my earliest memories, I've been captivated by the illustrations and imagery in fairy tales and couldn't think of anything else I'd rather do when I grew up than create my own. When I'm not painting in the studio, I can probably be found working in my gardens to make sure that there are plenty of havens for visiting fairies.

I've also been known to be an avid book reader, movie watcher, creative cook from my backyard garden, and a well-trained servant to a dog, two cats and a brood of sassy chickens. I love living in the moss-laden Pacific Northwest with my husband and grown children who occasionally move back in with us.

Over the past 25 years, I have been, amongst other things; a designer, an art director, an illustrator, an instructor, a curator, and a workshop facilitator (see TLCWorkshops.com).  My work has been featured in books, magazines, specialty publications, packaging, educational software, zoos, and galleries.
